With the introduction of the self-publishing industry, you no longer have to depend on a big publishing house to put your ideas, photos or design into print. However, that doesn’t mean you need to do it all yourself.
Although it’s called self-publishing, self-publishing doesn’t necessarily mean having to go it alone. In fact, most self-published authors we speak to say that they wish they’d had more knowledge and more support, but simply didn’t know where to look. That’s why we created SelfPublishing.Today (or as we lovingly call it, SPT): to provide aspiring authors with a one-stop resource for information on all aspects of the publishing process, as well as a network of experienced professionals ready to offer their services.
SelfPublishing.Today was created by Doris Chung, the founder of Publisher Production Solutions and a third-generation printer. Early on in the self-publishing craze, Doris identified a lack of information and support for those who wished to self-publish their work and sought out to do something about it. She began offering her services to self-published authors and eventually, in 2014, SelfPublishing.Today was born.
